CAMP DIRECTOR

Camp Aranzazu, a young, fast-growing host facility located on Copano Bay in Rockport, Texas, seeks dedicated and focused professional to design, manage and administer year-round camp programs for children/adults with disabilities and chronic illnesses based on Camp Aranzazu's Intentional Camping Philosophy. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: design and implementation of camp programs, recruiting, training, and supervising program staff, and camp marketing. Responsible for nurturing relationships and continual contact with special-needs partner groups and campers, smooth operation of programs, and on-site camp management. Responsible for maintaining ACA accreditation. Experience in camp management and program design required. Proven leadership qualities required. Experience in special needs camping desired. Applicant should meet ACA standards for on-site director.

SUMMER ACTIVITY LEADER

Camp Aranzazu is searching for qualified applicants to operate its summer camp programs and make a difference in the lives of some very special children. High school diploma and ability to lead and interact with campers with special needs in a residential setting a must. Ability to plan, organize, and carry out daily and special program activities a plus. Experience in one or more of the following desired: life guarding, kayaking instruction, challenge course facilitation, environmental education, visual/theatre arts and music. Camp experience a plus.
